Thinking About Switching To TypePad Pro

So I'm thinking of switching over to a TypePad Pro account for TViJ as there's a ton of features that I'd love to have but Blogger doesn't do. Or at least not that I can figure out.

What do you guys think? Recommend the switch?

I highly recommend WordPress.
I feel your pain. I started my videoblog in April and I'm regretting using Blogger because of its lack of Tag-functionality.

There's no way to efficiently tag/categorize the videos to make the site more user-friendly -- a problem I'm guessing you too are trying to solve.

I've tried several workarounds hoping for a viable solution and nothing seems to work the way I need it to.

Several of my friends have switched to WordPress and are happy they made the switch. WP will import all your Blogger posts AND comments.

They also have free accounts and a pay service.

If the domain name hadn't already been taken, I would've made the switch to WordPress weeks ago.

As it stands, I'm still searching for a solution and eagerly awaiting to see how you solve your issues.

Your Hairiest Fan,
That's exactly my problem Wombat.

I have over two hundred posts now all of which are in no way indexed whatsoever.

I'll check out Wordpress. The only problem is I'm kind of a dummy when it comes to these things.

But hopefully they have an idiot-proof version with hosting.
I personally switched to WP (my own hosting) and I love it. I would never go back to Blogger =)
I'd also highly recommend Wordpress.
Yes, you should really try Wordpress. It's powerful, easy to use, and open source - so it's extremely customizable with thousands of free plugins available for download!
I've been using it for years..
As Long As It's Shorter Than 'TVInJapan.BlogSpot.Com'..

Agreeing With Everyone Else, Go For WordPress, A Number Of Other Blogs I Know Use It And It's Good..
In case you're still reading the comments: yet another recommendation for WordPress here. It's got all kinds of features and thousands of plug-ins and themes available. And if you ever get to the point where you want to add features to your site, it's really easy to do.

Adding WordPress to your own site is ridiculously simple, and using their hosting service is even easier. (I don't work for wordpress, I'm just really impressed with them).

And if I can make a recommendation after you make the switch: could you please make less posts visible on the main page? Whenever YouTube or Google Video start acting up, it can take forever to load the page just for one video.
There is anything painfully ironic about sitting on the living room sofa, just a couple feet away from a wonderful widescreen HDTV, watching a motion picture in your very small notebook. But this really is what most of us do once we down load movies or Tv demonstrates onto our pcs.
A similar goes for showing off our most up-to-date electronic shots to good friends. We all huddle around the 15-inch laptop or computer display while the Television monitor goes unused. And how about that PowerPoint presentation you only gave at perform? Wouldn't it have looked one,000 occasions much better on the wall-mounted plasma display in the convention room?Acer Aspire AS07A31 Battery

There are many compelling explanations why we would like to connect our pcs to our televisions, in particular now that HDTVs are so well-liked. Every little thing from videos to pictures to work displays were being made for the big-screen experience.
The very first individual computer systems employed TVs for screens, but laptop graphics technologies immediately outpaced the image high quality on standard-definition TVs (SDTVs). The typical modern-day computer keep an eye on has the power to display screen photos in a a lot higher resolution than the usual common Television set. A pc keep an eye on can show far more unique pixels than an SDTV.
